Abbas Ali Iqbal

Abbas has over 29 years of professional experience and is a talented sales trainer & management consultant with vast knowledge and experience of domestic and International markets. He has worked with a number of leading banks and multinational companies in senior positions.
He is presently Founder & CEO at SBCG Pvt Limited. Abbas has worked with Barclays Bank UAE as Head of Sales. He has also worked for Standard Chartered Bank as Head of Service Quality. Earlier he has been Head of Marketing and Sales at Lakson Group of Companies. His specialized areas of expertise are sales and service management, customer experience, management consultancy in emerging markets, product and financial management.
Abbas has successfully executed various consulting projects with different organizations in Pakistan and across South East Asia, Middle East and North Africa.

Erum Abbas Iqbal

Erum has an outstanding professional background which is evident through her over 15 years of experience in a professional environment. She has cultivated effective skills that have allowed her to contribute positively to the growth of the organizations and their people.
Additionally, her educational qualifications include a Master’s in Business Administration with majors in Finance from Southeastern (Greenwich Campus) in 1993-1997, Digital Technology Cambridge PDQ Diploma from 2020-2021, Digital Technology Cambridge PDQ Certification from 2018-2019, and a Business Studies online course from Cambridge International Examinations. All of these have enabled Erum to be an even more valuable asset to any organization she is part of.

Muslim Reza Mooman CFA

Muslim Reza is an experienced Financial Markets, Treasury, and Wealth Management professional passionate about imparting knowledge via specialized training courses and thought leadership sessions. His banking career spans over 23 years with multinational Banks including ABN Amro, The Royal Bank of Scotland, and Standard Chartered Bank, in various senior management roles with a track record of digitizing workflows, defining strategy, and leading sustainable delivery.
He has a decade of experience in marketing research, consulting, and mentorship to support leveraging the opportunity from grass root level through digitization and redefining thought processes. With a passion for imparting knowledge and contributing to society, Muslim is part of the Visiting Faculty for IBA, IoBM, and IQRA alongside conducting specialized training courses in the field of Finance, Sales Management, and Operational excellence. He conducts various thought leadership sessions on Facebook Live and regularly contributes to The Express Tribune. Muslim is a CFA charter holder, has an MBA from IBA, in Marketing and Finance, has a Certification in dealing from ACI, and is a certified Mutual Fund distributor from ICM. He is pursuing his MPhil (leading to PhD) in Behavioural Finance from Karachi University.

Urooj is a passionate technology professional and the founder of Workstream. With an engineering degree from Imperial College, London, Urooj is a hands-on IT professional, extremely adept at devising business driven IT solutions.
Urooj has over 25 years of experience working in Europe and the Middle East in the areas of enterprise solutions architecture, cloud computing and digital transformation. His experiences include technology consulting with Accenture in London, building a 5 million song database at Shazam, managed the break-up of Nokia’s technology platform. He has worked on consulting assignments at JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, RBS, Santander and Bank of America / Merrill Lynch.
With an inclusive mentoring management style Urooj has developed high performance teams by ‘walking the talk.’ A keen technology enthusiast, Urooj now lives in Dubai and is currently working towards building the next generation fintech platform for process optimization.

Syed Abdullah Shah

Abdullah brings more than 15 years of banking experience working in the UAE and Pakistan. With a keen understanding of Islamic Banking, he has held senior Positions in Governance, Operational Risk, Compliance, Credit Operations & Retail Operations. His career spans across various international banks including Standard Chartered Bank, Noor Bank and Samba Bank.
Abdullah served as an Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at Workstream Automation where he was actively engaged in all areas of the business including designing and implementing business strategies.
Abdullah also served as the country head of the Security Organizing System for Cash Management Services and ATM-Replenishment, where he was in charge of controlling turnaround times, effective planning for areas that operate around-the-clock, conducting market research, and recommending operational strategy to the Management Committee.
Abdullah is Bachelor’s in economics and holds an MBA degree from Chifley Business School, Australia.

Umar Azim Daudpota

Umar is a leading banker with over 30 years of experience in the field of banking having served in both local and international banks. As part of his extensive experience, Mr. Umar was instrumental in establishing and developing various businesses in Retail, NRP, Priority and Consumer banking. Umar holds both an MBA degree as well as B.Sc. In Aero-sciences and has successfully completed the International Capital Market Qualification from the Securities Institute, London, UK.
He has also been a certified trainer from Cohen Brown for imparting training to senior managers in the field of wealth management, marketing/sales, and leadership skills. Mr. Umar has a keen interest in microfinance banking and entrepreneurial enterprises. He is also an avid golfer and a frequent traveler. Umar was also board member of Pakistan State Oil between 2014 -2015.

Ahmad Jamal Khan

Ahmad Jamal Khan brings with him a wealth of banking experience spanning over 3 decades, in Retail / Consumer distribution/ branchless banking and Sales. Held regional and country level positions as Business Head. Worked with leading organizations including HBL, Standard Chartered, ANZ Grindlays, Albaraka and Middle East bank.

Jamal began his career with ANZ Grindlays, where he lead many assignments in covering retail, priority banking, credit and compliance. Later he ventured into Islamic banking where he was heading branch banking and went on to setting -up the distribution network of 60 branches within 2 years for a newly established Islamic bank, Emirates Global Islamic Bank Ltd (subsequently, Al-Baraka Bank Ltd). Jamal has worked across regions and cultures, and hired, managed and trained sales and service teams in urban and rural areas.
